Our clients wanted The Trumpets to be the number one pub in Iași. Situated in the busiest area in the city, Palas, the pub needed to attract mainly young people working in the IT industry, having lunch inside the complex. We wanted them to come back in the evenings for music and drinks, so we created the branding for what has become one of the most popular places for nightlife.

Situated in the busiest area in the city, Palas, the pub needed to attract mainly young people working in the IT industry, having lunch inside the complex. We wanted them to come back in the evenings for music and drinks, so we created the branding for what has become one of the most popular places for nightlife.
The visual identity is inspired by Sex Pistols' album cover from 1977 for God Save The Queen. We wanted to convey the idea of an authentic British pub, but far from boring or cliché, a place equally fit for a great pint, a good meal or a great night out friends. Guilty pleasures included. We took the identity further with a unique mix of typefaces and ornamental elements to be used on posters, t-shirts, menus, coasters, signage and everything else.
We created and implemented the launch campaign which showcased posters with written funny reasons as to why you're still in the pub and designed and implemented the first interactive transit station in the city: a built-in jukebox inside the station structure, speakers and a playlist so anyone waiting for the bus could play their favorite famous British tune.
